Ek Nayi League

Kapil Dev, the former captain of the Indian Cricket Team and also the captain to bring in the first world cup win of our country in the year 1983, has come up with a New League which has created a lot of suspense even before it has started. Twitter is already trending with #EkNayiLeague and there is a lot of speculation as to what it actually is going to be. Though it is started by a cricket legend but it is not similar to IPL or any cricket game, it is something more than that.

Kapil Dev is all over the internet promoting and campaigning his new league and has chosen Twitter as the first medium. He has created his account just two weeks back and has already got a huge fan following. He has created all the suspense for his upcoming show via twitter and fans are crazily guessing as to what it is going to be.

The word league is usually associated with sports but there is another meaning to it too. It also means a collection of people, countries or groups that combine for mutual co-operation. Taking this meaning of league into account, I feel it is some kind of reality show and more of a Big Boss kind. Yes, I think it is a big boss style show where all the contestants will be sports people and popular TV celebrities and Kapil Dev will be the host. Contestant has to show a lot of cooperation for their survival in the house rather than playing with their heart and losing the game. In his videos, he is challenging Kapil Sharma of Comedy Nights with Kapil, to his league and says that he will lose if he plays following his heart. Oh my God! The more video I see the more suspense it is creating in me.

I also feel it will be some kind of game show where sports and TV personalities will be the contestants and Kapil Dev will be the host. He would put forward the most difficult questions to them where they will have to answer in a given time. So all those who answer his questions using their minds and knowledge will survive the game. In this scenario we can see how our celebrities are performing in a different way.

Apart from the above, I also have the feeling that he will play a game of cards or poker or any such game with his contestants where their mind has to get to work to win.
