Look Up Stories

Life is all about challenges. Every human being on this earth faces some or the other challenge and how you overcome these challenges defines you. You need to be very optimistic in life and take these challenges as a turning point and bring a change - a positive change. Yes, change is an integral part of life. As put by George Bernard Shaw: “Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself” I shall share with you my life story and how various bold  decisions I had taken along the way to reach a place where I'm now. To start with, I belong to a  very poor family where my father had no job and my mom did some menial work to feed our entire family. We were a total of seven - mom, dad, two sisters and three brothers and me being the eldest among my siblings. Being the eldest, I too had the responsibility of my family on my shoulder. Standing Duck Craft

Preschool Craft - Standing Duck Draw a duck on a piece of white chart paper and cut along the lines. Colour its body yellow and the beak in orange. Now a take paper and cut into 1 inch rectangle shape. Bring the edges together and stick so that it forms a circle. and stick on the other side of the duck which is not coloured so that it stands straight on the ground. Jungle Scene Craft

Preschool Art - Jungle Scene Take an A4 size paper and using wide paint brush draw two vertical poles for the stem of the plant. Take a square sponge, dab it in green paint and smudge over to form a tree. Smudge some below as well to form some grass around Take another square sponge piece, and dap it in yellow paint and smudge all around. Now have some wild animal pictures printed, just cut around and paste them. Alternatively, you can draw it too. You will get a perfect scene from a jungle. Materials required: A4 size paper, paint colours in brown, yellow and green, and some animal picture cuts outs.

Photo Frame Craft

Preschool craft - Photo frame A cute looking photo frame which is very easy to make and kids will love doing it and sticking their family photo on it. Just take a black chart paper and cut it into 27 by 22 cm. Draw and two flowers on a red chart paper and stick it on either side of the frame. Apply glitter over the boundary of the flower. Take another white chart paper and cut as seen in the picture and colour it and make the eyes. Stick your favorite photo and place in the living area. Materials required: Black red and white chart paper, crayons, glitter and glue

Squares Colour Fun

Preschool Art - Square colour fun Draw a number of squares on an A4 size paper and ask your kid to colour each square with a different colour. This is done for the identification of share and various colours. Materials required: A4 size paper, pencil and crayons

Diwali Greetings Card

Preschool craft - Diwali Greetings card On an A4 size paper, draw a big trapezium. Cut strips of crepe papers of various colours and ask your kid to stick inside the trapezium. Write the word DIWALI in style. Colour it and apply some glitters. Wall Hanging Paper Plate Craft

Preschool Craft - Paper plate wall hanging craft Believe me this is the best craft work a kid can make and hang in their rooms. Take a paper plate and colour 3/4 of the plate with blue. Take maroon, white and black woolen thread and cut into small pieces. Apply glue all over the white and area and keep the cut wool pieces over it so that it gets stuck. Now take a white chart paper and cut out a bird shape. Colour it with green and stick on the blue area. Also cut out two oval shapes to make eggs of the bird and stick it. Now make a whole on the top and put ribbon in it and tie a knot. Hang it Materials required: Paper plate, white chart paper, maroon, black and white woolen threads, colours and a ribbon

Christmas Tree Craft

Preschool Craft Idea - Christmas Tree Take an A4 size paper and fold it to make a cone. Take blue and green crepe paper stripes and cut the edges. Apply glue over them and roll over the cone alternatively. Glue some stars, sequins and a red gift box made of art paper. Materials required: A4 size paper, blue and green crepe paper, sequins, stars, red art paper and glue.

Preschool Craft - Bird Origami Take a red art paper and fold it to make a bird. Materials required: Red art paper and black sketch pen

Preschool Art - Mushroom Painting Take an A4 size paper. Take a mushroom and cut it into half lenghtwise. Dip the cut part in any colour paint and stamp on the paper. Repeat with different colours. Materials required: A4 size paper, mushrooms and various colour paints.

Car Shaped Face Mask Craft

Preschool craft - Car shaped mask made out of chart paper Take a white chart paper and draw the car shape as seen in the pic above Cut along the lines and color it using sketch pen Make holes on either side and insert the band Wear your mask and flaunt to your friends This was made for a competition and my son got the 1st runner up prize :)

Diwali Wall Hanging Craft Take a pink color chart paper and cut 4 diya shapes out of it. Apply glitter on the flame Take a green color chart paper and cut 5 leaf shapes out of it. Shoe Print Drawing

Shoe print done on a paper Take an A4 size paper Take brown colour paint and ask your child wearing his shoes to put one leg on the paint Ask him to gently lift his leg and place on the paper to get the shoe mark Let it dry

Republic Day Badge Craft

Easy Preschool Craft Activity - Republic Day Badge Take a white chart paper, draw and cut a medium size circle from it. Draw two straight lines with a pencil dividing the circle into 3 equal portions. Take orange and green color art paper and cut it into small pieces. Stick the orange colored pieces on top and green colored in the bottom to make it appear an Indian Flag. Then write the message HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY in the center of the badge. Make a small hole on top and insert a  ribbon into it and tie the knot. You Republic Day Badge is ready!

Sunflower Paper Craft

Easy Preschool Paper Craft - Sunflower made by a preschooler Take a yellow chart paper and draw a sunflower over it and cut it out. Take yellow crepe paper and cut out 8 petals of the same size. Stick over the petals on the chart paper. Using fingers print the dots with brown colour in the center.

Star Fish Paper Craft

Preschool Easy Craft - Star Fish made by a 4 year old kid Take a white coloured chart paper and draw a star fish as seen in the picture above. Cut it in the shape of the drawing and colour it with pink colour crayon. Apply glitter all over it. Stick the star fish to an icecream stick.

Under Water World Paper Craft

Preschool Craft Activity - Underwater world theme made by a 4 year old kid Take an A4 size paper and paint it blue using water colour. Now make fishes, octopus and weeds as seen in the picture. Stick everything over the paper at appropriate places to give it a beautiful look.
