Last week I had received an invitation from Indiblogger to experience the power packed, feature-loaded and adrenaline-pumped Tata Hexa.
The Hexa Expeirence centre in Bangalore was based at the White Orchid Convention Centre, which is located adjacent to Manyata Embassy Business Park, Nagavara. This event was held for a period of three days from 23rd December to 25th December, 2016.
I attended this event with my family on the Christmas Day. The Hexa Expererice centre was very well organized and there was something for everyone. There were multiple stalls showcasing various products of Tata brand like Tata Housing, Tata Beverage, Mia from Tanishq, pet adoption stall, food counters and play zone for kids. There were live performances as well.
The magnificent Tata Hexa with its impact design, dynamic performance with next generation technology was the star attraction kept beautifully at the centre. It is an absolute comfort car and looks stylish which no can deny.
Coming to the features, Tata Hexa is a big car with the dimension of 4788 x 1903 x 1791 mm and a wheel base of 2850 mm. It has a got a very good ground clearance of 200 mm and disc brakes on the front and rear. The front suspension is of double wishbone type with coil springs and the rear is coil spring type 5 link rigid axle suspension. It has got a seating capacity of 6 to 7 people and a fuel capacity of 60 litres. It has got a turning radius of 5.75m. The car comes in XE, XM, XT, XMA, XTA and XT 4 x 4. The interiors have sculpted indulgent seats, ambient mood lighting, a functional dashboard, sun blinds, contrast seat stitching that gives a unique look to the seats and a Driver Information System. The touch screen audio system by Harman comes with powerful speakers, touch display AM/FM, USB, AUX IN, iPOD Connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity and a speaker system that can range from 6 to 10 speakers and navigation support. It has also got other features like central locking system, power windows, steering audio controls, 6 airbags and many more.
The car has four super drive modes: Auto, Comfort, Dynamic and Rough Road depending on the road conditions you are driving on. It comes in five colours - Arizona Blue, Tungsten Silver, Pearl White, Platinum Silver, Sky Grey.
We were given the option of experiencing the Tata Hexa, both off road and on road. For me it was a first kind of off road experience and I got to know the car really well. Though the terrain was tough to ride, our drive in Tata Hexa was very smooth. We went over the hill, on an uneven slope, in the mud and also at an angular position. There are various modes of drive like 'hill climb', 'rough mode' etc. which assist in the overall drive and makes it an effortless driving experience.
The price of this Hexatraordinary car is not yet disclosed, though I was informed that it could range anywhere between 12 lakhs to 18 lakhs.
Tata Hexa is surely one of the best cars to look out for in 2017. For more details, do check out this link to know more about this masterpiece from Tata - http://hexa.tatamotors.com/
